The Basketball complex, home of the Malta Basketball Association, will host all basketball and basketball 3×3 competitions. The venue has undergone major infrastructural and renovation works in recent years in preparation for the Games of the Small States of Europe in June 2023. With four new spectator stands, the pavilion’s capacity has been increased to 1,200 seats and facilities include new dressing rooms and office administrative space plus two adjacent indoor training courts. The FIBA Championship for Small Countries 2022 were successfully held at the basketball complex last summer with the participation of six countries – Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Gibraltar, Malta and San Marino.
